Everything that used to be split across the Studio Rules and Tuition pages, in one place. Bookmark this — or skim now, ask later. The front desk is happy to clarify anything.
Parents and siblings are welcome in the lobby during class hours — please keep voices low; the studio walls aren’t soundproof. For dancers under age 8, walk your dancer to the studio door; ages 8+ can be dropped at the lobby.
Missed classes aren’t pro-rated — tuition is for your seat in the season. Use a make-up instead: up to 3 per dancer per season, by email request, in any same-level class. Snow-day closures don’t count against the 3.
If the studio closes for weather, we post the notice by 1pm in the parent portal and on social media. Caffery’s closures don’t always follow the school district. Weather-closure classes can be made up at no cost — outside the regular 3-make-up cap.
Annual tuition is split into 10 monthly payments, due on the 15th. First month at registration. June & July have no charge. $20 late fee after the 25th. Tuition is non-refundable once the season starts; pre-season cancellations get a full refund. Registration fee is non-refundable. Full tuition page →
Switch between classes any time, space permitting. To drop a class after the season starts, give us 30 days’ written notice by email. Joining mid-season? Tuition is pro-rated to your start date and the registration fee is reduced.
The June recital is the season finale and most dancers participate, but it’s not mandatory. Tell us by January if your dancer would prefer to skip and we’ll skip the costume fee for that piece.
Caffery’s is a kind studio. Dancers, families, and staff treat each other with respect — in the studio, the lobby, online, and at competitions. Studio-taken photos may appear on our social channels and website by default; you can opt out any time at registration or by email.
If something on this page is unclear, or you have a situation we haven’t covered, the studio will figure it out with you. We’d rather make a sensible exception than enforce a rule that doesn’t fit.
